About Us/NPN Magazine

Since its start in 1909, National Petroleum News has guided and counseled generations of leaders in the retail petroleum and convenience store industry. It is the industry's most authoritative, most widely read and most respect magazine. NPN provides its readers with a well-planned package of news, trends and strategic analysis designed to help our readers run their businesses more effectively.
With an average monthly circulation of 38,000, NPN is published thirteen times per year. Senator introduces bill that would require temperature compensation
U.S. Senator Claire McCaskill (D-Mo.) on Aug. 3 introduced the F.A.I.R. (Future Accountability In Retail) Fuel Act that would require the installation of automatic temperature compensating equipment in all retail gas station pumps within six years to adjust the price of gas as it expands due to warmer temperatures.
